The Canyon Creek Downhill Trail - CCDH - is a descending-only, formidable technical trail that feels closer to a black, than a blue rated trail. This bold creation is unquestionably difficult. If you struggle with the steeper black trails of adjacent Tiger mountain, you will be challenged by CCDH's rough and rooty character.

In nature, there are few forces as powerful as a lightning bolt, and culturally, humankind experienced massive transformation when we were able to harness the power of electricity. For this reason, the lightning bolt is symbolic of divine inspiration and intervention, of epiphanies and transformative experiences. It can also represent speed, high energy, radio waves, frequency, communication, and danger. This lightning bolt appears on the radio towers at the very top of the mountain near the start of the CCDH trail.
